在自然溫潤的空間裡,咬一口祖傳三代的天然麵包魂:無麩質麵包店 Breadblok

烤得金黃酥脆的麵包,在溫潤的榿木架上排排站好,可頌和瑪芬則乖乖躺在以石材為基底的透明櫥櫃中,等待被挑選,這是一間位在美國城市 Santa Monica 中的無麩質麵包店 Breadblok

以純天然食材手工烘焙,在不含麩質、增稠劑和精緻糖等添加物的前提下,做出可口的麵包和糕點。如此的堅持,源自於創辦人 Charlier 家族的第一代祖先在法國普羅旺斯的農場生活,有機和永續觀念在耳濡目染下,就像是刻在身體的基因一般,一代傳一代。

Breadblok 不只是在麵包承襲了這樣的生活態度,店內風格也是,例如剛剛提到的榿木麵包架和表面參差不齊的石材基座,都是以自然原始的材質和色調原味呈現。

抬頭仰望,還能看見懸吊於天花板的編織籃包覆著吊燈,光線從緊密的縫隙中微微透出,在陶磚地板上映照出溫柔的影子。這讓我想起了台灣傳統市場裡的老闆們,也會把編織籃掛在半空中,遇到收錢找錢的時候就會把它拉下來,將紙鈔硬幣放進去,和這次的設計有著異曲同工之妙。

視線來到座位區的牆面,室內設計師以拼布的概念,將一塊塊色相稍微不同的正方形拼貼在一起,相似又不失變化,米黃色的正方體壁燈也無違和地融入其中,變成了拼布的一部分。

天然食材、木頭、編織、石頭和陶磚,完整了 Breadblok 整間店,配上亮眼的加州陽光斜照進來,很適合找一個位子坐下來,好好享受悠閒的午後時光。
