接地氣，嗎？ Local Enough？

本次展覽，菲比規劃了一個回應「接地氣，嗎？」的互動遊戲：觀眾進入展場時，會拿到一本 A3 尺寸製成的八格一頁書；扣除封面與封底後的六面內頁，按照觀展順序建議，分別導覽六位參展藝術家/藝術團體的作品；每頁以一幅藝術家代表作品，以及五個關鍵詞組成。
為何這個本來要作為「導覽手冊」的一頁書中只出現關鍵詞，而沒有完整陳述的文句呢？是因為這次展覽主題本身就是一個問句，而且這個問句並不被設定為只有一個標準答案。
因此「關鍵詞」可以說是，藝術家適度而低限的引導。我們的設計，就是請觀眾按詞索驥，隨著觀展過程提出自己的答案，最後將個人的答案留給展場。這些由外地人或本地人給出的線索與答案，就像一顆石頭丟到人心裡面，石頭可能瞬間沉沒，也有可能泛起漣漪，而與時間一同滾動，化作一縷與彼此內心接軌的地氣。
Responding to the theme, Local Enough?, the curator has designed an interactive game for this exhibition. Upon entering into the exhibition venue, each audience member will be provided with an A3 paper size pamphlet. Not including the front and back covers, the pamphlet has a total of six pages, with each page divided into eight grids. The pages are organized according to the suggested order for seeing the exhibition, providing to the audience with information for the artworks by the six contributing artists/collectives. Each page consists of an artwork by one of the contributing artists and also five keywords.
You may wonder why this pamphlet that was supposed to be an “exhibition guidebook” only consists of keywords and does not provide complete descriptions of the artworks? The reason is because the overarching theme of this exhibition is itself a question, and it is an open question without a specific standardized answer.
Therefore, the keywords can be considered moderate and minimum guides from the artists. The design invites the audience to seek out clues from the words and to come up with their own answers through the process of seeing the exhibition. They are then encouraged to leave their answers at the exhibition venue. These clues or answers provided from both outsiders or locals can act like pieces of stones being dropped inside people’s hearts. Some rocks may sink instantaneously, while others may create many ripples. As they roll and turn along with the progression of time, they may transform into energies flourishing from this local land that can bring people closer to each other.
