高聳的宣禮塔矗立於巷弄間，雪白圍牆內盡是綠意盎然，新摩爾式風格的雕花窗格與馬賽克磚相映成趣，這裡不是北非，卻有著濃濃的異國風情。位於巴黎市中心的大清真寺（Grande Mosquée de Paris）靜謐而優雅，彷彿城市中的綠洲，讓人有置身於摩洛哥的錯覺。
花園中央的噴泉與翠綠漸層的地磚構築而成的畫面美不勝收，仔細觀察你會發現在清真寺的內部建築主要以藍、白、黃、綠的釉面磁磚構成，這些顏色不僅造就了悠然的視覺效果，更蘊含了不同的意義，白色指的是純潔無瑕的心靈；綠色代表天；藍色是和平象徵；黃色則是寧靜和真善美。
位於清真寺旁的茶沙龍也是消磨漫長天光的好去處，蔓生樹蔭讓人無比放鬆，半自助式的空間絲毫不覺得拘謹，無論來杯薄荷茶或是嚐嚐道地阿拉甜點都是再好不過的享受。
