當我第一次聽見這首歌時，就深深的被它的歌詞打動。我這樣說，也許你會覺得這首歌一定是感人的情歌，或是勵志歌曲之類的，其實不是，但這的確是一首唱出我心聲的歌曲。
在台灣，或者是說整個亞洲，女性的地位相較於西方國家是較低的，我一直覺得這是一件不公平的事情，但它卻已經根深蒂固在我們的文化裡。當然，這個專欄不會討論到非常深刻的兩性問題，我只是很簡單的希望每個女孩，都可以找到專屬於自己那份自信。因此，我僅以這首 One Direction（1 世代） 的 What makes you beautiful（妳是如此美麗）獻給所有台灣的所有女人。（一定要看一下中文歌詞喔）
