今晚要帶給大家的，是潘德曼非常喜歡的美國 Funk 搖滾樂團 Red Hot Chili Peppers 嗆辣紅椒，Red Hot Chili Peppers 成軍於 1983 年的 Los Angeles，出道至今已經經歷了 30 個年頭，是紅遍全世界的經典樂團。
從成立到現在，樂團內部也發生許多大大小小的摩擦和成員的出走替換，但是在樂團元老的主唱 Anthony Kiedis 和貝斯手 Flea 的帶領下，仍然從 80 年代活躍到現在。

這首 Dani California 歌詞所描述的是一位出生於美國南部 Mississippi 的女孩 Dani，她一生過著艱苦的生活，最後在 California 結束她悲慘的一生。
Dani California 一次拿下 “Grammy Awards 葛萊美獎” 的 “Best Rock Song 年度最佳搖滾歌曲” 和 “Best Rock Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group 年度最佳搖滾演唱組合” 兩項大獎。
