夜戰半島|恆春豎孤棚文化桌遊

恆春豎孤棚已有百餘年歷史,為了讓文化更容易被大眾理解與認識,我們深入恆春實際參與,結合文化背景與競技規則,設計出能藉由遊玩認識該文化的桌遊品牌。
Hengchun pole climbing has a history of more than 100 years. To make the culture easier to be understood and recognized by the public, we participated in the event and combined it with the cultural background and competition rules. We created a brand for the board game that people can easily understand the culture by playing.
農曆七月傳統上被視為鬼月,而中元普渡是台灣鬼月一個救渡鬼魂的儀式。人們在搶孤活動裡為祭品食物拚個你死我活的盛況,儼然已經成為中元普渡儀式裡最熱鬧的景象。
The seventh lunar month is traditionally regarded as Ghost month and there is a salvation ceremony named Chungyuan Pu Tu.on the 15th day of the month. Henghchun Chiang Ku is a special ceremony that has been passed down for several hundred years. People compete violently for the food offerings in the Chiang gu activity, which has become the busiest scene in the Putu rite.

不過在分發孤品的時候常發生搶奪受傷情形,後來才設計出「豎孤棚」的比賽方法,來爭取孤棚上的物品,避免不必要的傷害。

爬孤棚競賽方式,為36根原木保留東西南北4根空柱,留給「好兄弟」(孤魂野鬼)攀爬,總每隊人數在12人左右,以疊羅漢的方式互助合作,一步步緩慢往上移動並攀爬至最高點運用繩索去除柱子上的牛油,到頂端時再爬上城牆,先取下順風旗者即獲得勝利,過程驚險刺激,畫面深具吸引力。
There are four poles(one in each direction) that are kept unused out of the thirty-six poles for ghosts to climb. The remaining thirty-two poles are separately given to each competing team. Each team has around twelve members. They slowly get to the canopy of the poles by standing on top of each other.
In order to climb the poles up easily, they can use ropes to remove the oil on the poles. Once they reach the top of the tower, they must climb over the “city wall” and get the winning flag to gain victory. The process of the competition is very exciting and breathtaking. It will be held impression deeply by viewers.
卡牌視覺的呈現上以四神獸為主要元素,文字部分重新設計一套專屬的「夜戰字體」,印刷上運用數位燙金技法讓每張卡牌擁有耀眼的外觀;色彩搭配亦經過無數嘗試,目的創造最佳的遊玩體驗,並進一步創造收藏的附加價值。
The visual presentation of the cards is based on the four beasts. The cards were also redesigned with the special “night fighting words”, and by applying the digital ironing technique to print, each card will have a dazzling appearance. Color matching has also been undergone for countless attempts to achieve the best game experience and create willing collections further.
屏東恆春的豎孤棚文化,擁有百年歷史歲月外還帶有特殊競技形式;因此夜戰體以傳達歷史背景、融入戰鬥氣息為設計要點,將此文化的精髓一筆一畫的呈現在夜戰半島使用率最高的字體之中。
Pole climbing in Pingtung Hengchun has a century-old history and also has a special form of competition; therefore, the GWTG2021 is designed to convey the historical background and blend in the fighting atmosphere, and the essence of this culture is presented on the night battle peninsula one by one. Among the most used fonts.
包裝部分除了運用四神獸與色彩的搭配之外,整體結構以方便攜帶、容易收納為核心目標;整套桌遊的品牌包裝上也擁有極高辨識度;相信綜合以上亮點,將會為桌遊這項娛樂活動增添更獨特的色彩,並傳達台灣更在地的習俗文化!
The packaging is also very attentive. In addition to the use of the four beats and colors, the main purpose of the overall structure is to carry it conveniently and store it easily. The brand packaging of the entire board game also has a high degree of recognition. By combining the highlights above, we believe it will increase more unique characteristics for the entertainment of board games and convey the local customs and cultures of Taiwan.
